At Grasmere we follow the local authority admissions procedure.  

All admissions (except for Nursery places) are managed by Hackney Education.  More information can be found on the:

 

In-year admissions are also managed by Hackney Education but the school welcomes parents who wish to tour the school or make enquiries about places in specific year groups. 

 

Nursery Admissions 

Admissions to the Nursery are managed by the Office Manager at Grasmere. If you have any questions about Nursery admissions, please email info@grasmere.hackney.sch.uk 

We currently offer 3 year old provision in our nursery. Applications can be made directly to the school by completing an application form and returning this to the office. 

The school will also need to see the following original documents: 

• Proof of birth (Passport or Birth Certificate) 
• Proof of address

Tax Free Childcare

Working families may be able to pay nursery and wraparound care fees (including breakfast club,  and after school provision) through the Tax-Free Childcare scheme. For every £8 you pay in, the government adds £2.
