Green Council

Alongside our work towards becoming a Climate Action School, we have a Green Council, which meets separately to School Council, with a clear focus on the core values that drive the school’s journey in becoming more sustainable.

The council this year will look towards the possibility of the school being a terra cycling point for the community, working with the Chef in Schools to grow produce for the kitchen in the raised beds in the garden, looking at ways to cut waste and compost and thinking of activities and competitions to help raise the profile of becoming more sustainable in the time of climate emergency.
