Otis Redding Class

In Otis Redding class, we have been familiarising ourselves with the beat of a song. This week we listened to different genres of music, from pop to reggae, jazz and folk, to see if we could find the most common beat of 4 beats in a bar within each song.

As we are trying to build our musical vocabulary, we learnt a very fun song called We’re Detectives. Within this song we learnt about different musical articulations, including:
