Year 6: Key dates for the diary

Dear Year 6 Parents/ carers,

I am writing to let you know the dates for planned trips and activities that year 6 will enjoy in the second half of this term.

Many of these events are open for you to come to and enjoy with the children [these events will have  * next to them].

Friday 19^th May: Y6 Cake sale *

Monday 22^nd May: Hispanic day at Grasmere

Thursday 25^th May: International evening from 6.15pm -7.30pm*

Wednesday 7^th June [and every Wednesday following that]: Canoeing at Laburnum boat club

Monday 12^th June: Science Week begins

Friday 23^rd June: Trip to Epping Forest*

Thursday 29^th June: Bike around the Borough*

Friday 7^th July: Bike ride to Broxbourne*

Monday 10^th July: Sports day at Finsbury Park*

Thursday 13^th July: Picnic at Clissold Park 12pm-3pm followed by a Party in the garden from 6pm-8pm*

Tuesday 18^th July: Y6 Leavers performance and last day of term*

I would like to take this opportunity to wish your children all the very best in their upcoming tests. I know they have all worked incredibly hard for the whole year. Looking at the dates above, it is good to know that they have lots to look forward to following the tests to mark the end of their time at Grasmere.
